Mad Minute... On you mark, Get set, Go!

For the record, I have never seen a class more focused prior to doing a Mad Minute. It was as if you were all preparing to run the 100m dash for an Olympic gold medal. If you would like to practice on your own time, there is now a Mad Minute link added to our webpage. You just need to grab yourself a timer and a whistle and you are off!!
This is a posting for students and parents. First of all let me begin by saying that I could have asked for a better start to the new year. All of you boys and girls have made this first week a lot of fun. I have changed the setting for this webpage and have decided to allow comments to be made with each posting. Hopefully this will make for an easier line of communication.

Reminder to students:

I am going to have a Question Box set up on the counter for you to put ideas you may have for community circle.

If you were able to solve the riddle, be sure to put the answer in your agenda for Friday September 7th.

I had a great day today and am now looking forward to this year more than ever. For those of you who check this tonight there has been a change in our class lockers. We have been asked to move down the hall to make room for some of the grade 8's. After announcements I will give all of you the new locker numbers so save the decorating and organizing for later on in the day.
